Artistic Philosophy

About

Tricia Dietrick is a twenty-two-year-old dancer and choreographer pursuing her BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She began her training at age five at North Pittsburgh Dance Academy in Mars, Pennsylvania. From there Tricia’s love for dance followed into her highschool career at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, Pennsylvania. She has trained at summer intensives such as A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, Doug Varone Devices, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Dance Italia, and participated in Dancewave: Through College & Beyond. Tricia has performed in works by Victor Quijada, Doug Varone, Crystal Perkins, and had the privilege of her work being featured multiple times at The Boston Conservatory MainStage Theatre. She has danced and choreographed for films at Emerson University and performed in Venus and Adonis for the Cambridge Chamber Ensemble. Tricia cannot wait to see what the future brings and hopes to continue exploring dance creation, collaboration, and performance.
